A General Epidemic Model and Its Application to Mask Design Considering Different Preferences towards Masks

چکیده

While most masks have a limited effect on personal protection, how effective are they for collective protection? How to enlighten the design of from perspective dynamics? In this paper, we assume three preferences in population: (i) never wearing mask; (ii) mask if and only infected; (iii) always mask. We study epidemic transmission an open system within Susceptible-Infected-Recovered (SIR) model framework. use agent-based Monte Carlo simulation mean-field differential equations investigate model, respectively. Ternary heat maps show that is beneficial curbing spread epidemic. Based potential implications different designs dynamics. The results strengthening filterability face outside more parameter spaces, because it acts individuals with both (iii). However, when fraction achieves critical point, becomes effective, emerging hidden reality infected become too few utilize their fully.

construction and validation of translation metacognitive strategy questionnaire and its application to translation quality

like any other learning activity, translation is a problem solving activity which involves executing parallel cognitive processes. the ability to think about these higher processes, plan, organize, monitor and evaluate the most influential executive cognitive processes is what flavell (1975) called “metacognition” which encompasses raising awareness of mental processes as well as using effectiv...

A wavelet method for stochastic Volterra integral equations and its application to general stock model

In this article,we present a wavelet method for solving stochastic Volterra integral equations based on Haar wavelets. First, we approximate all functions involved in the problem by Haar Wavelets then, by substituting the obtained approximations in the problem, using the It^{o} integral formula and collocation points then, the main problem changes into a system of linear or nonlinear equation w...

A General Near-Zone Light Source Model and its Application to Computer Automated Reflector Design

The goal of this work is to develop a general light source model that is physically accurate, intuitively descriptive, computationally convenient, and applicable to real sources. This paper solves two major problems in illumination optics: near-zone general extended light source characterization for accurate image rendering and raytracing, and computer-automated reflector design using the resul...
